New materials rarely scale alone. Suppliers, manufacturers, regulators, customers, and investors all shape whether adoption becomes possible.

New materials rarely reach the market through a single decision-maker. Adoption often depends on suppliers, manufacturers, certification bodies, integrators, end customers, and investors understanding their role in the path forward.
That is why value-chain building is not a side activity. It is part of commercialization itself.
Adoption is a system problem
A material may be technically superior but still struggle if production partners are missing, standards are unclear, customers cannot test it easily, or the economics do not work across the chain.
Mapping the ecosystem early helps teams identify who must be convinced, what proof each stakeholder needs, and where partnerships can reduce friction.
